Today, July 5th, was our excursion to Venice.
After a short ferry ride to get there we went on a 2 hour walking tour around
the city and learned about the historical buildings. We finished our tour with
a glass blowing demonstration and had an opportunity to explore Venice on our
own. Some of us went to the nice restaurants to grab lunch, while others went
to take a gondola ride. Despite the overwhelming hot weather, we all had an
amazing time and loved our visit there. For those going to Pisa tomorrow, we
are all super excited to see the famous building!
