Yesterday, around 30 of us took a trip down to the excavated ruins of
Pompeii. We enjoyed a delicious pizza lunch in Naples then went in to tour the
ancient city. After that, we tested our endurance and strength in a walk up Mt.
Vesuvius. It was tough, but all of us made it up there to see the spectacular
view both inside the volcano and out toward the city and countryside. We came
back safely, although completely exhausted, to the hotel for a late dinner, and
hopefully everyone slept very well last night.
